The Event & Office manager is responsible for overseeing office operations and organizing events that foster a productive, professional, and inspiring work environment. This role is crucial in supporting the daily office functions while also planning and executing events that strengthen the company’s culture and brand image. The Event & Office manager works closely with various departments to ensure smooth office processes and seamless event coordination. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
What you'll do
Office Administration: Oversee office supplies, facilities, and equipment management, including inventory control and ordering.
Management Support: Assist the management team by organizing meetings, managing schedules and taking meeting minutes.
Administrative Support: Handle incoming and outgoing mail, emails, and phone calls, manage document filing and perform general administrative tasks.
Employee happiness: Assist with new employee onboarding, maintain personnel record, and organize team-building activities to promote a positive company culture.
Facility Management: Ensure a safe and pleasant work environment by coordinating maintenance, cleaning services and collaborating with external vendors.
Event Planning and Organization: Plan and execute company events such as team-building activities, corporate parties, conferences and client-oriented events.
Event Budgeting: Plan and manage event budgets, obtain quotes, and negotiate with vendors to ensure quality and cost-efficiency.
Logistics Coordination: Oversee event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and decor ensuring smooth timing and execution.
Communication and Promotion: Collaborate with marketing and communication teams to effectively promote events internally and externally.
Event Evaluation and Improvement: Gather feedback and evaluate the success of events to make improvements for future events.
What we're looking for
Associate degree in Office Management, Event Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
3-5 years of experience in a similar role, overseeing both office and event management.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Experience in budget management and negotiation skills.
Proactive attitude and problem-solving abilities.
Clear communicator, fast executor, and someone who enjoys working in a scale up environment.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Based in the Netherlands. Living near Breda is preferred as this role is based at our HQ in Breda.
