CreatorSMP the biggest live creator-gaming event in the Benelux
80 creators participate in a livestreaming event
CreatorSMP 3 turned the Dutch and Belgian online world upside down. Over three weeks, it built immense tension, with 80 participating creators and a finale that drew more than 200,000 live viewers, growing into the biggest live gaming event in the Benelux.
What is CreatorSMP?
CreatorSMP is a large-scale Minecraft project, created and led by Jeremy Frieser and Duncan, in which 80 creators play together for three weeks in one Hardcore world.
From the start, the players were divided into Team North and Team South, immediately creating competition, strategy, and unexpected plot twists. Viewers could follow the entire adventure live through each creator’s stream on Twitch, YouTube, or TikTok.
The one-life system made CreatorSMP especially intense: one mistake could mean the end. It created maximum adrenaline for the players and huge engagement from the community.
The idea behind SMP 3
Jeremy and Duncan wanted to bring together as many different creators as possible. For this third edition, they intentionally chose a stronger gameplay structure so creators could more easily follow a clear storyline. This resulted in tighter collaborations, stronger narratives, and content that exploded across all platforms.
According to the organizers, this season’s growth is mainly driven by the enormous diversity of players and by the way creators embraced the project and promoted it themselves.

Creators & record-breaking numbers
A total of 80 Dutch and Belgian creators participated from international Minecraft names like ClownPierce to Dutch icons like Enzo Knol, DonKaaklijn, and Qucee. Of course, Jeremy and Duncan joined the adventure themselves. Bringing together these different creator communities sparked massive reach. Fans created thousands of TikToks, followed every moment, and many creators broke their personal viewership records.
SMP 3 shattered multiple livestream records. The average viewership was higher than during the entire pandemic period, the Dutch record for most concurrent live viewers was broken twice, and the finale alone drew more than 200,000 live viewers. In addition, countless clips went viral on TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube.
According to Jeremy and Duncan, every participant played an active role in this success.
“The growth I’ve experienced as a creator from playing in the SMP is incomparable to any other event or tournament I’ve done. Nothing in the Call of Duty scene even comes close to how big this is for people across the Netherlands, both young and old.”
“CreatorSMP 3 has opened so many doors for me within the Dutch community. I’ve met so many amazing people, and it was incredible to be part of a Minecraft world filled with such enthusiastic players.”
Future plans & opportunities for brands
Jeremy and Duncan confirm that CreatorSMP is far from done. “We’re nowhere near finished with Minecraft. The plans keep growing.”
Regarding potential collaborations, they are clear: CreatorSMP remains a passion-driven project. Commercial partnerships are possible, but only when a brand truly fits the creators, the story, and the experience of the community.
